More news to share in the sexual harassment world! (you are not really surprised, are you??!!) See the latest on the Billerica Fire Department, as reported in the Lowell Sun. Having strong policies is an important first step. Communicating expectations around conduct and encouraging employees to come forward to report bad behavior is paramount!  Training is not mandatory in Massachusetts or New Hampshire, but by being proactive as an employer and training your employees and managers, you can be on better footing, should employees misbehave. You may not be able to control your employees behavior, but you can take steps to protect yourself.
